How do women look at cufflinks and the men who wear them? What sorts of cufflinks do they like? An interesting question! We've done some (very) informal research, and here are the results...

Women tend to see cufflinks as a sign that a man takes pride in his appearance, and is confident in himself.

Many women associate cufflinks and French cuff shirts with wealth and power.

Women see stuffy or boring cufflinks as a reflection on the style (or lack thereof) of the wearer.

Every woman we talked to said that a man was better to wear cufflinks than not in a business setting, and on formal occasions.

By far the majority of women wished they got to wear cufflinks, and thought it was a good talking point for a man to be wearing a great pair of cufflinks.

Generally, women prefer less flashy cufflinks and do not appreciate cliched gold and onyx links. Women recommended that men look for styles that are a little bit different, and that say something about the wearer.
